| FRONT-END CLEARING -- FIRM TESTING LAUNCH DATE: MONDAY, JULY 22, 2002 In preparation for the Front-End Clearing -- Firm Testing launch on Monday, July 22, 2002, we are requesting that all firm users access the Front-end Clearing (FEC) system this Wednesday, July 17th, between the hours of 11:30 AM and 12:00 PM, to test response time and performance. As a reminder, the GLOBEX Inquiry (GB2) screens will be disabled when FEC is implemented. In preparation for this test and implementation, all Member Firm personnel actively using the GB2 screens are encouraged to sign up for access to the CME Portal.
